Although it may not be as notable as certain other cities in the US, Indianapolis is still a great place to visit. With a wide variety of attractions and destinations, you can have a very good time visiting this city. If you are taking a trip there but haven’t figured out what you’re going to do during your time in Indianapolis, I’ve got some great ideas that I think you will probably enjoy:
The Indianapolis Museum of Art: The Indianapolis Museum of Art is a great museum that is filled with a diverse collection of different pieces of art. Regardless of what type of art you prefer, I am confident that you will be able to find a wide range of pieces in this museum that you enjoy visiting.
Symphony on the Prairie Performances: If you enjoy live music and spending time outdoors, you will thoroughly enjoy going to a Symphony on the Prairie Performance, which takes place throughout the course of the summer (all the way until Labor Day weekend). You can bring a blanket or lawn chair and picnic basket, and you will have a truly excellent time.
The Indianapolis Tornados: Although Indianapolis is obviously home to the Colts, if you are in Indianapolis outside of the NFL season and would still enjoy the thrill of seeing a live football game, you can enjoy going to aTornados game, which is a minor league professional football team in Indianapolis. Their season begins in June, and runs all the way through September.
