I just got from one of the most fun trips I have ever taken in my whole life down in Indianapolis Indiana and I gotta tell you, if you are going to this awesome city you have just got to rent a car! Initially I was just going to rely on public transportation and cab rides but my good friend who I went down there to visit convinced me to rent a car and it totally made all the difference in the world.

I went to Indianapolis to visit my super best friend from back in college and I was only there for about five days, but I saved a nice chunk of change by renting my own car. I did the math on it and for the cost of two cab rides per day I got a very nice 2009 Toyota Camry from Hertz Rent A Car.

If you are going to go with any car rental agency in Indianapolis I would have to personally recommend the Hertz agency right near down town. It’s super easy to get to if you are anywhere near downtown, right by Indiana University on West Washington street. The person behind the desk was super nice and I was in and out of the place in about 15 minutes. By the way, I saved at least a hundred bucks because my car insurance covered the rental car that I chose, so by all means check to see if your insurance covers rental cars before you go!
